Hollyoaks for many is the staple teatime TV viewing experience if your not interested in the days news.
A lot of people love to watch its pretty characters change personality to fit in with the latest in slightly 
controversial story lines, while being bombarded with pointless video editing effects (that have usually been 
stolen from TV shows with more substance) all set to the latest in not quite underground pop soundtracks. 
Others of course hate it!
